What is Occupational Therapy? 🤔

It’s helping people get back to living their life… without pain getting in the way. 👏

That means opening jars, working, exercising, cooking, playing sports, or simply getting through your day with ease. 💫💫💫

Yes, your work is an occupation but you complete hundreds of occupations in a single day at your job. The dictionary definition is “an activity in which one engages.”

As a Certified Hand Therapist, I focus on everything from the shoulder down to the fingertips, treating the issues that impact how you move and function. 🙋‍♀️

And now, you don’t even need to leave your home to get expert care. 🏡

Virtual rehab makes it simple, convenient, and personalized. 💻

If something doesn’t feel right in your arm, wrist, or hand, let’s fix it before it gets worse.

Send me a message and let’s talk. 🤍

✨ Think you know carpal tunnel syndrome? Think again…

There are a lot of misconceptions about what it is, what causes it, and how to treat it.

The truth?
Many people wait too long to address symptoms like numbness, tingling, or night pain, and that can make recovery harder.

Understanding the facts is the first step toward feeling better.

Hi friends 🤍

I created a free e-book, “Healthy Hands for Life”, to help people who are dealing with hand, wrist, or arm pain learn simple, practical ways to take better care of their hands at home.

If you or someone you know works with their hands, uses a computer all day, loves cooking, crafting, woodworking, sports, or is just starting to notice aches, stiffness, or numbness, this will help!!

Your hands and arms work harder than you think 💪

Fixing a washer. Sanding. Painting. Caulking. Flipping a mattress. Even catching yourself during a small fall 🫣

All of it adds up.

Most arm and hand pain doesn’t come from one big injury. It builds slowly from everyday tasks we repeat without thinking. Gripping, lifting, twisting, pushing, bracing. Week after week.

Just like we care for our back, heart, or teeth, our hands and arms deserve regular attention too 🤍

A little mobility work.
A little strength.
A little recovery.

Small, consistent care can prevent bigger problems later.

So I’ll ask again…
What do you do in an average week that puts stress on your arms or hands?

If you’re starting to notice stiffness, weakness, or pain, don’t ignore it. Early guidance can make all the difference 🤗

Your hands carry you through life. Let’s take care of them.

Therapy can be hard, especially when you are in ⚡️PAIN⚡️ and can’t do all of the things you want to 😖

It’s your decision where and how you get therapy. It’s important to collaborate with your therapist, but don’t be afraid to ask if they are the right person to be on your team 🙌
