Holiday Adopt-A-Grandparent Program 🌟

The holidays should feel warm, joyful, and full of connection — but for many of our residents, this time of year can be incredibly lonely. Most of our grandparents arrive with no family at all… so we become their family. Their home is here, with us — and with you.

This year, we’re asking our community to help us wrap our residents in a little extra love. ❤️

We’ve created one combined Amazon Wish List that supports all of our residents. This list includes items they look forward to but often cannot afford on their own — things like:

🎁Cozy socks

🎁Coloring/activity books

🎁Personal care items

🎁Comfy clothing

🎁Their favorite pop & snacks

This list is for anyone who wants to help generally — every item ordered goes directly to our residents.

✨ But if your heart feels pulled to adopt one specific resident, please contact us directly. We will personally email you their individual list along with a little intro about who you’re helping.
You’ll know their story, their personality, and what makes them so special.

And trust us… our residents are one of a kind.
It has been a long time since we’ve had a group as special as the one we have now. They are kind, funny, full of stories, and so deeply grateful for every act of love that comes their way.

We do everything we can for the 45 residents who call our lodge “home,” but there are simply some things we can’t provide alone.
Your generosity fills those gaps in ways that are truly priceless.

Looking for a rewarding career helping others in a friendly, home-like environment?
Pleasant Lake Lodge Assisted Living is growing and currently accepting applications for:

✨ 1–2 Full-Time Positions
✨ 1 Part-Time Position

🕒 Schedule: Three 13-hour shifts per week with every 3rd weekend off rotation — giving you plenty of personal time!

💚 Experience: No training required, but experience in the medical field or passing medications is a plus.
🧾 Requirements: Must be able to pass a background check, complete a TB test, and obtain CPR certification.
