Charter Funeral Home & Crematory located just south of Birmingham in Calera, Alabama opened in May 1997. We offer both cremation and burial services to the public. In 2005 we started Veterans Funeral & Cremation Society due to our close proximity to the new Alabama National Cemetery. We are Family owned and operated with the only onsite crematory in Shelby County, Alabama.
