So this morning I surpassed my goal, and I wanted to share my thoughts since I started my journey a year ago
First of all sustainably became the most important part of my weight loss! If you only eat kale and sad salads and zero carbs you can’t sustain that, I had to learn to eat in moderation the foods I liked

I kept all junk food out of my house because I had a food addiction and couldn’t trust myself around it but slowly I added a few treats back in because I now value how I physically feel, if I over indulge I feel so sick and uncomfortable

I learned to cook instead of eating out we eat pizza a lot! I make homemade pizza and roasts and chilli and cinnamon rolls! The key moderation.

If you’re just starting out and you have a hard time giving up sweets I do recommend some sugar free puddings or treats, or low calorie snacks to help you transition, I personally needed those options because it helped me not to get back into binging on the normal sweets.

This program helped me not only to lose 57 pounds but to also gain confidence, it helped me to heal my relationship with food and helped me past disordered eating habits, I’m never going back to the way it used to be because this is a lifestyle not a quick fix, I feel amazing now and have so much energy to play with my toddler!

I LOVE a good bowl of chicken noodle soup, don't you? 😋
Especially when you are feeling under the weather, or just wiped out. Chicken noodle soup has amazing healing powers, and is sooo delicious. Not to mention, CHEAP! ❤
INGREDIENTS:
• 8 cups chicken broth or bouillon cubes
• 1 lb boneless skin-less chicken breasts or thighs
• 1 1/2 cups celery sliced
• 1 1/2 cups carrots sliced
• 1/2 cup yellow onion diced
• 1 tsp. minced garlic or powder
• 1/4 tsp. pepper
• salt to taste( add at the end)
• 1 pkg. egg noodles cooked according to package directions
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Add the chicken broth, chicken, celery, carrots, onion, garlic, and pepper to the slow cooker.
2. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours.
3. Add the cooked and drained noodles.
4. Taste for salt, add if needed.
5. Stir and serve! ❤

I can't stop making cottage cheese chocolate mousse! They're so delicious, and now my coworkers keep asking me to whip them up. They’re super easy to make

Ingredients:

▢ 1 cup cottage cheese, I used 2%

▢ 2 Tbsp cocoa powder

▢ 2 Tbsp maple syrup

▢ 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

▢ 2 tsp chia seeds

OPTIONAL TOPPINGS:

▢ crushed cookies, nuts, berries, banana, vanilla yogurt, or whipped cream.

When you’re really hungry but you’re out of points I present to you, the Zero Point Charcuterie Dinner (yes, I made the deviled eggs with 0 point ingredients!!!)
EDIT - For those of you commenting about the olives, when I started WW over a year ago, I swear olives were 0 pts. I haven’t gained weight by eating olives here and there, and I don’t think I will. They’re a “fruit” after all

My favorite salad ! 2 cups of fresh broccoli
1/2 red onion
4 oz cubed cheddar
1c red cabbage
Crumbled bacon
Roasted sunflower seeds
1/2 c shredded carrot optional (low carb)
1/4 cup dried cranberries optional (low carb)
Dressing
1/2 c Mayo
1/4c Greek yogurt or sour cream
2 tbs white wine vinegar or Acv
1 tbs sweetner
1 tsp celery seed
Salt and pepper
I don't cook my broccoli. As it marinates over night the broccoli
