The Cottages’ caring approach to memory care starts from the heart. We are dedicated to serve and care for each resident as a family member. That means kind, loving and professional memory care in a warm and comfortable home. Every detail of our care, the staff, our homes, the food, medication supervision, activities and more is based on this compassionate approach. To enhance this approach, all of our care is based on the most current research in Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, and other gerontological research findings, making our practices state-of-the-art when it comes to dementia care and assisted living. Different Cottages for Different Older Adults
Each Cottage has a specific program designed for older adults with four levels of Alzheimer’s care: mild, moderate, late stage and hospice. The programs, activities, food and care is tailored to meet each populations’ needs and concerns. For example, Cottage #11, which is designed for seniors who are social, active, and cognitively aware, has an activity specialist daily along with formal and engaging meal times. Cottage #1 and #8 residents require more care and supervision. And, they also enjoy a pleasant, calming music program and aromatherapy.
