I recently signed up for an amazing event! It was a yoga class-food drive. To participate in the free yoga class, you bring food items to be donated to the local food pantry. This was an amazing idea. Such a great way to give back to the community. It was a great turnout!

I recently experienced a really amazing Sound Bath Meditation session at Elu Yoga. It was relaxing, peaceful, and I found myself in a strange trance that was energizing. I left feeling great, I’ll definitely be back because I want to add more structured meditation practices to my days and I love Sound Baths. If you haven’t experienced a sound bath before, I highly recommend you do. Look to see if there are any in your area! It’s a wonderful and unique experience.

A lot of times our only time spent outside is walking from the car into our work buildings.
Walking outside is a great way to ground yourself and regulate your nervous system. Nature is calming and healing.
If you can, take some time to walk outside. Even a short 10-15 minute walk can improve your mood and positively impact your mental health.
Step outside, walk, and breathe.

It's been my goal for the past few years to physically read at least one book per month. I am happy with the progress I made this year! I read some really great books (and a few not so great). I help run a book club for mental health therapists, and I plan to attend Silent Book Clubs in the new year. I am so excited to connect with others with a passion for reading, learning, and growing.
