Tonight’s training focused on traffic crash scene setup. We reviewed recent calls to critique and improve ourselves. During the training, we responded to a real traffic incident to provide assistance. Special thanks to County Commissioner Berg and our Sheriff and mounted patrol members for participating in this evening’s training with us.

K9 Karma Funeral Procession Details and Route for Thursday, August 21st:

Community members are welcome to come out and show support along our route. Wave a flag, hold up a K9 Karma plushie if you have one, or hold up a sign and honor K9 Karma to let it be known that his service and dedication will never be forgotten.

On Thursday, K9 Karma’s procession will begin at 6pm travelling north on Hwy 65 from the Anoka Co line. The procession will turn west onto Co Rd 5 into the city of Isanti, home to Deputy Miller and Karma. The procession will continue north on Co Rd 10 (Palm St NW) to 329th Ave NW. The procession will travel east on 329th Ave NW, north on Spirit River Dr. passed the Armed Forces Center, and then east on 2nd Ave SW through Cambridge to Dellwood St. From 2nd Ave SW and Dellwood St S, the procession will go south and end at the Isanti County Government Center.

The funeral service will begin following the arrival of the procession at approximately 6:30pm. Guests will be provided a blue rose for the ceremony and afterwards are invited to a slide show visitation in the Government Center with refreshments.
