Lue Haven extends a heartfelt thanks to the Columbus Museum of Art for generously donating FOUR family passes. The Family Pass offers year-round admission for 2 adults and children (18 & under)!!

This gift opens the door for our families to experience creativity, curiosity, and connection in a space where learning feels alive. Access to art is access to expression, inspiration, and imagination, and we are deeply grateful for your contribution in making that possible for our community. Your generosity helps us nurture not just minds, but hearts too. 🎨💛

Now… 👀 how can YOU get a pass?

1️⃣ One Family Pass will be included in our Talent Show winnings 🏆 🎤

2️⃣ One Family Pass will be included with door prizes at our Community Info Meeting on February 22nd @ 3pm at Daily Ritual ☕️

Calling all educators, tutors, and humans who light up when kids finally get it. 📚✨

We are officially less than three weeks away from our community meeting on the 22nd, and I want to bring our educator and tutor crew together BEFORE that so we’re grounded, organized, and moving as a team.

🤔IF YOU ARE EVEN THE SLIGHTEST BIT CURIOUS OR INTERESTED, PLEASE REACH OUT. YOU DON'T HAVE TO COMMIT RIGHT AWAY, BUT JOIN US ANYWAY AND SEE IF IT ALIGNS WITH YOU.

🌟IF YOU'RE ALREADY SIGNED UP TO VOLUNTEER AS A TUTOR OR MENTOR, YOU WILL BE ADDED TO THE GROUP CHAT TODAY. WE WILL SHARE AVAILABILITY TO GET OUR MEETING SCHEDULED ASAP -- I WILL THEN BE FORWARDING LUE HAVEN'S LIST OF VOUNTEERS TO OUR DISTRICT'S ADMINISTRATORS TO FURTHER COLLABORATE AND TRACK IMPACT/DATA🌟

This group meeting is for anyone who will be assisting with student mentorship or tutoring this year. The goal is shared understanding & a collective vision for how we show up for students, and how we approach advocacy this summer in a way that’s thoughtful and actually useful.

At the community meeting on the 22nd, we’ll be outlining our programming for the year. I want to walk into that space prepared, aligned, and able to clearly share what we’re building together. This planning meeting helps make that possible.

If you’re an educator, tutor, or someone passionate about learning, support, systems, and doing things differently (and better), I’d love for you to be part of this. Your voice matters here.

Comment below or message us directly if you want in, and we’ll share the meeting details. Let’s build this intentionally. 💛

So many new, friendly faces lately. I wanted to re-introduce myself and our mission 💞

I’m Alyssa. 👋🏽✨
Founder and Director of Lue Haven.

I’m an introvert. Like, cancels plans and then feels relieved introvert. Awkward in conversation, but passionate in purpose, systems, mental health, and how people deserve better support (just give me 3-5 business days to mentally prepare for the conversation). INFJ. Wife. Mom. Professional overthinker. Student. Full-time pug enthusiast.

Lue Haven exists because I wanted to take matters into my own hands. Kids struggling. Families overwhelmed. Schools stretched thin. Everyone doing their best inside systems that just… aren’t working the way they should. I didn’t want to just talk about it anymore… especially in today’s political climate. I wanted to finally DO SOMETHING.

I’m a mental health advocate through and through, currently deep in the trenches as a developing BCBA. Translation: I’m learning how behavior, mental health, systems, and environments all interact, and how we can stop blaming individuals for problems that are clearly systemic.

At my core, I’m devoted to nurturing communities so that they feel deeply connected, supported, and human. Not performative. Not flashy. Real support. Real relationships. Real change.

Our five-year impact goal is simple: support schools and families in a way that strengthens kids’ support systems so they can actually succeed. Not just academically, but emotionally, socially, and developmentally. Kids don’t thrive in isolation. They thrive when the adults around them are supported too.

Lue Haven is bold, persistent, and here for the long haul. And yes, I’m still awkward. But I care a lot, and that tends to carry me through. 🩷🙏🏽🔥

I’m gonna keep saying this until February 22nd @ 2:59pm—COME TO OUR COMMUNITY MEETING ON FEBRUARY 22ND @ 3PM!!! Come hang out, get some coffee, and learn more about what we’re up to.
