With all this great weather we’ve been having, it’s hard to stay inside! We had a great ride yesterday at Road Apple Roubaix and can’t wait to get to Roughneck Gravel Roubaix in May! Don’t forget to put us on your calendar for August 15! Better yet, jump on over to BikeReg and get signed up. BTD will take you through Cameron County and Elk State Forest dropping you smack dab on the doorstep of multiple vistas and miles of the finest gravel.  You’ll experience many of the roads used in the newest Wild Elk Gravel bike packing routes leaving from Look Up Cameron County. 2025 brought things no one could have imagined. The 20hr drive to get there, the pre-ride, drinks , and grub at Louie’s was the amazing standard Ive become used to. This was our third year making the trip we look forward to. No one seen this coming though. Fires, evacuations, emergency personal risking their lives for the community, uncertainty, and ultimately the cancellation of the event. My thoughts go out to the residents of Stillwater OK whom lost everything they have and all the emergency personnel fighting so hard to get everything under control. Friday evening and I were evacuated and we made our way in the following days to Bentonville to ride the course and put some time in on our bikes. Although we didn’t get to compete our original plan, the spirit and support has for their community is unreal. was dealt cards no one should ever have to play. Bobby, we will be back in 2026. What a weekend . This was our first year attending the expo and we met some great peeps along the way. , , and I made the trip to check out what’s new for 2025 and I have to say there’s a lot going on. Cycling is ever changing but the constant that remains is that everyone wants people to enjoy the time spent on two wheels. Next up,

This weekend was filled with a road trip to for a season opener that didn’t disappoint. Mother Nature decided it was necessary to break the year in with 14+mph winds, temps in the 20’s, and some snow and ice to top it off. We slung some l**e on the chain, filled the bottles with , and let the .bikes Shafer eat. What a proper season opener. Next up, in 2 weeks. Upcoming 20hr drive and who knows, maybe it’ll be a mud year?
