Yesterday, our staff had the opportunity to spend the day learning from speech-language pathologist Mahnaz Maqbool during a continuing education training focused on DIRFloortime®, language, praxis, and play.
Through this training, our therapists deepened their understanding of the relationship between movement, postural control, and language development, while exploring play-based and narrative-based intervention strategies to better support their clients.
We are incredibly grateful to Mahnaz for sharing her expertise and helping our team continue to grow in providing thoughtful, child-centered care.
