Take care of yourself when using smartphones and tech devices.
We are often totally absorbed in what is happening on our device that we are not aware of our body position and what this little device can do to us over time.

The head weighs approximately 10-12 lbs.

The neck supports the weight of the head which, depending on the angle of inclination, increases. The further down we look and drop our head forward, the more our head weighs. Depending on which cervical segment takes the weight and stress, the weight of the head fluctuates. If you lean the head forward, it weighs more and more.

When bent to 60 degrees, it loads 60 lbs over the lower cervical vertebrae and down into the thoracic spine! Head forward posture impacts the entire spine.

What's more, the supporting soft tissues, fascia, muscles, ligaments and tendons become strained and fatigued, putting increased strain on joints and discs. Over time, the neck gets stiffer and increases the likelihood of creating problems elsewhere.

Restore balance in your pelvis and strength in your legs with the airbench.

We use this exercise in posture therapy to neutralize rotation in the pelvis, balance hip disparity, and strengthen the legs and hips while relieving strain from the knees and back muscles.

Build up your endurance gradually:
30 seconds, 1 minute, 90 seconds, 2 minutes over the course of several weeks.

👍When our leg and hip muscles are balanced and strong, along with a more neutral pelvic position, we will often experience less joint discomfort in the back, hips, knees, and ankles.

Try it:
✔️Stand with your back against the wall with feet and knees hip width and feet pointed straight ahead.
✔️Walk your feet away from the wall while sliding your body down at the same time.
✔️You'll be seated in an invisible chair.
Knees bent to 105 degrees
✔️Your hips are slightly higher than your knees. Your ankles are slightly ahead of your knees.
✔️Your arms can hang down at your sides or rest your hands gently on your lap.
✔️Hold for the recommended time.
✔️Do this exercise in shoes or barefoot on a non-slip surface.

✔️ Pull your elbows back, slide your shoulder blades together.
✔️ Stand straight.
✔️ Feet pointed straight ahead.
✔️ Walk.
