Meet our Spotlight Employee for the month of January... Jamie!

Jamie has been with the Sunny Days team as an on-boarding specialist for over 2 years! She is originally from West Deer Township and currently lives in Cecil Township with her Husband and their 2 dogs Sadie and Penny Lane. Jamie has two children, Dominic and Carlie, and one granddaughter, Layla. She also has a grand-dog named Nova. Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, going to concerts, baking, and doing DIY projects around her house. Her favorite food is eggplant parmesan, her favorite kind of music is classic rock, and she has many favorite movies, including - Rudy, Stand by Me, Shawshank Redemption and Almost Famous. A fun fact about Jamie is that she is very passionate about music and her lifelong dream is to become an astronaut.

Jamie’s favorite part about working at Sunny Days is getting to meet new people and hear clients’ stories. Her advice to new employees is to always ask questions, take notes, be punctual, and prepared. Stay humble and try to consider different perspectives. Her favorite memory is a celebration at the Gateway Clipper. Her life mantra is God, Family, Country... In that order!

We also evaluate clients' homes to find a caregiver who will match their lifestyle. For example, if a client has pets, we'll find a caregiver who also enjoys petting dogs or feeding fish.
