✨ My One Word for 2026 Is LISTEN
And I chose it prayerfully and intentionally.
I’m stepping into a new season of leadership—one that marks a clear shift into life and business coaching.
For years, my work has centered on education, support, and walking alongside families through mental and emotional health journeys. That work continues to shape me deeply.
But this next step is asking me to level up my leadership.
As I begin my life and business coaching certification this month, I’m learning that the most powerful tool I can offer isn’t more information—it’s presence.
True coaching starts with listening.
Scripture reminds us:
“Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak.” (James 1:19)
LISTEN is the skill I’m intentionally strengthening—not just professionally, but personally and spiritually.
This year I’m choosing to:
• listen before I lead
• listen to my body before my calendar
• listen deeply instead of rushing to fix
• listen for what God is asking of me
After years of growth, choosing joy in burnout, building wealth, and serving others, 2026 isn’t asking me to push harder.
It’s asking me to slow enough to discern.
“Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)
I’m trusting that direction doesn’t always come through noise or urgency, but often through quiet clarity—
“After the fire came a gentle whisper.” (1 Kings 19:12)
So my prayer for this year is simple:
“Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.” (1 Samuel 3:10)
LISTEN will be my filter.
My pause before yes.
My foundation as a coach.
And my posture as I step into this next chapter of leadership.

Drop your word below, or comment “LISTENING” if you’re still discerning.
This year doesn’t need to be louder.
It needs to be led with intention 💜
