CHOCOLATE CHERRY GRAIN FREE GRANOLA!

This recipe is very “on brand” for February. Being that February is my birthday month and I was born on Valentine’s Day I’m feel like the expert! But regardless of the time of year this recipe is made, it’s delicious and you’re going to want it in your mouth ASAP!

I wish this recipe had an amazing origin story. Like, as a child my grandma and I would spend hours in the kitchen making granola and I’m here to recreate it, grain-free. Well it doesn’t! Most of the recipes I create are flat out accidents, like this one. I was trying to put groceries away, realizing I had little pantry space as bags of nuts, seeds and dried fruit were landing on my head!

Once I regained my wits, managed to wrestle a bag of dried cherries from my dog and cleaned up the pecan pieces that had rained down all over my kitchen floor, I realized I may have the making of a delicious grain-free granola. And viola! Except I burnt the first batch, which was oddly delicious.

What I’m trying to say is, even with a mild head injury and a possible fire I still managed to make this recipe, so can you! 👏🏼💜
