A Way Out

A Way Out As a result of our ongoing efforts, many who are motivated to change and who want help can find it.

We provide resources for clients: which includes addiction assessments, treatment solutions, peer recovery support, family support groups, therapy for family members, and financial aid to motivated alcoholics, addicts and their families. A Way Out is a non-profit organization based in the Western Slope of Colorado that provides counseling referrals, addiction assessments, solution oriented programs, and financial aid to motivated alcoholics, addicts and their families. A Way Out’s focus is to support residents of Pitkin, Eagle and Garfield county, who are unable to secure an appropriate level of care to overcome their addiction(s). We focus on providing the expertise and accountability necessary to empower men, women and teens in these counties with addictive behaviors to thrive in recovery. A Way Out was formed to help people who cannot seem to break the addiction cycle and who truly want to find a new way of life. The organization is comprised of caring individuals committed to helping people find a full life in sobriety.

Our aftercare program supports and engages clients for a minimum of 12 months after treatment, helping them build life skills, connect with others in the local recovery community through peer events, and rediscover self-sufficiency and resilience in recovery.

Last year 75% of those who stayed engaged with us through our aftercare program remained sober for a year or more–well above the national average of 30-60% sobriety rates within 90 days of treatment.

If you're stuck in a cycle of use and want to get your life back, please reach out. We’re here to provide you with the support you need and deserve to begin, and maintain, long-term sobriety.
