A Way Out

A Way Out As a result of our ongoing efforts, many who are motivated to change and who want help can find it.

We provide resources for clients: which includes addiction assessments, treatment solutions, peer recovery support, family support groups, therapy for family members, and financial aid to motivated alcoholics, addicts and their families. A Way Out is a non-profit organization based in the Western Slope of Colorado that provides counseling referrals, addiction assessments, solution oriented programs, and financial aid to motivated alcoholics, addicts and their families. A Way Out’s focus is to support residents of Pitkin, Eagle and Garfield county, who are unable to secure an appropriate level of care to overcome their addiction(s). We focus on providing the expertise and accountability necessary to empower men, women and teens in these counties with addictive behaviors to thrive in recovery. A Way Out was formed to help people who cannot seem to break the addiction cycle and who truly want to find a new way of life. The organization is comprised of caring individuals committed to helping people find a full life in sobriety.

Give the Gift of Recovery 🌻

The most rewarding part of our work is seeing lives transformed: people of all ages beginning to believe in themselves again, reconnecting with children and loved ones, and rediscovering hope and purpose beyond addiction.

This fall, we’re asking for your help to raise $150,000 to ensure that individuals and families across Western Colorado have access to the support they need to break free from addiction and begin a new way of life–regardless of ability to pay.

Your donation directly funds:
🌻 Scholarships for intensive inpatient & outpatient treatment and sober housing
🌻 Mental health & substance use assessments
🌻 Referrals and up to one year of aftercare support
🌻 Free sober peer support events
🌻 Counseling and support groups for families impacted by addiction

Your support allows us to say “yes” when someone reaches out for help. Thank you for believing in our mission and generously supporting our work 💛

Everyone deserves the chance to thrive in recovery 💛

At A Way Out, we believe no one should be denied access to treatment or sober housing because of financial hardship. That’s why we provide scholarships for both inpatient and outpatient recovery programs, as well as financial assistance to cover rent in sober living homes.

We believe in your potential—and your right—to thrive in recovery, and we’re here to help you take that first or next step.
