There’s something special about starting the New Year together. 💜 We loved celebrating a Noon-Year’s countdown at RiverWoods and creating a festive, engaging way for residents to ring in the New Year earlier in the day.
To make the celebration accessible and enjoyable for everyone, we hosted two separate events — one for Independent Living residents and another for Personal Care residents. Each event was tailored to the space and the residents, while keeping the same fun, celebratory spirit throughout the day.
One of the highlights across both events was the photo booth experience. For many residents, it was a brand-new activity. With fun props and a little encouragement, including a mobile photo booth approach in Personal Care, it didn’t take long for curiosity to turn into smiles, laughter, and connection. Capturing these moments quickly became one of the highlights of the celebration.
These events were a wonderful way to start the year and a reflection of our commitment at Senior Helpers to fostering connection and engagement across the communities we serve.
