Real life 15 minute dinner! End of the week let’s get some food on the table stat! Here’s what I did. preheated the oven to 425. Quickly mixed up my creamy dill sauce. Put salmon 🐟skin side down on a baking sheet covered the salmon in the sauce and popped it in the oven for 12 minutes. While that was baking I washed greens and tomatoes for a salad drizzeled it with olive oil and the balsamic glaze🥗. (And the sipped a fresh margarita my husband made 🧊!) This is not beautiful or hard to make but it is easy and my toddler devours this salmon so it a a WIN🙌🏽! For the full recipe it’s on my website under ‘One-Pan Dill Salmon and Vegetables’ - I made a salad instead of the roasted veggies - bc summer 😅!

This little girl is so proud of herself when she makes her own special popsicles🥰. All this two year old wants these days is a little autonomy 😉 and I am here to give it to her! This is her smoothie popsicles we make weekly! She gets to pick the fruit that goes into it and gets to put all the ingredients to the blender. I put the ingredients into measuring cups and she individually pours the ingredients into the blender. I also add my favorite berry well immune support powder to the smoothie for extra immunity support. Then I blend it up while she covers her ears🙉. The very last but most important step she gets to taste it and make sure it’s to her liking before we pour it into her popsicles mold. We have fun with this step making any little adjustments she wants to it. We have lots of different molds but her current favorite is this 4 popsicle mold I picked up at rite aid for a dollar 👍🏽 I don’t have an exact recipe for this bc I follow her lead but the consistency we aim for is a thick smoothie 🥤/🍧.

Ingredients: 1 cup wild blueberries, 1.5 cups almond milk, 2 big spoonfuls of almond yogurt, small handful of spinach, 1 small banana, heaping Tbsp cashew butter, 1 tbsp berry well immune.

Last weekend of maternity leave well spent 👌🏾Spent time with friends💙, baked a cake🎂, rode the bike 🚴🏽‍♀️, walked on the beach, and most importantly had quality mom and daughter time. I’ve been trying to create space for one on one time with my daughter and this weekend it finally happened - we danced we played I listened and she felt heard. Just two months ago with a new born in my hands it was hard to imagine how I would juggle the demands of a new born and two year old. I trusted we would find our flow. And just 11 weeks later our family unit feels so much more settled. Of course there are hard moments bc is- but above all I feel the deepest gratitude for my family of 4 and this expansion phase of life. We rise. We expand.

My view on maternity leave 🤓I love staring at this little dream boat ⛵️.

I’m still here enjoying my slow moments with this little 8week old. I’ve been digital ‘detoxing’ this leave. I’ve kept social media off my phone. Deleted the apps and redownloaded only to post. It’s a pretty freeing to be significantly disconnected from screens/social/email. It’s allowed me to stay as present as possible with my kids during this transition chapter of life. Even after mat leave I’m going to make sure to take breaks from tech every so often. You should try it 😉! Awh it’s like a big hug for my brain 🧠! (But I sure do miss seeing the updates from everyone on here🥰)
Wishing you a happy holiday weekend💙✨🇺🇸!

my little teacher🌕. She has taught me so much in her 19 months of life and most recently she has taught me to slow down. Literally to stop and smell the flowers🌼🌱🌷🌿🌻. I’ve always been a high energy, go-go-go person but motherhood really teaches you to create moments of pause. Even as we shelter in place, time eludes us. I admit that I’ve always tried to get from point a to point b as fast as possible. But I’ve recently really challenged myself to enjoy the transitions more. The in betweens, the on the ways, the getting ready, the journeys are the moments I am slowing enough to see the beauty in. This tiny human always wants to stop and smell the flowers, splash in the puddles, crunch the leaves and oooh and ahhh at the trees. So here I am slowing my pace enough to share the magic of the in betweens.
Wishing you all a good-as-possible day as we continue to shelter in place and find magic in the little moments💫 @ Prospect, Oregon

✨ANNOUNCEMENT! ✨ I’m pleased to announce that I’ve created a free immunity guide just for YOU. I teamed up with my colleagues and Nutritionist Tammi, to focus our energy on serving you during this time🙏🏽. After weeks of emails and texts flowing in asking for advice on immune support we decided to write a guide on actionable items to start today. The guide is filled with recommendations I give my clients , friends, and family. We designed it to empower you to take steps to support your immune system daily. In the midst of the pandemic so many of us are feeling powerless in protecting our health while we shelter in place. There are many things you can do to build a robust immune system. Remember that you don’t have to do everything, just start where you are and find peace in knowing you can make small changes add up. Sending love and strength to everyone💓✨ Download the guide from our website 💻 Adaptology.health or click my link in profile🌲
