That Right! This is the ONLY handheld device programed with the proper Russian 10-50-10 protocol providing an experience only found in clinical models. Originally developed by the Russian Olympic team for muscle mass and strength enhancement, is mostly used for muscle strengthening in the United States today. Other handheld Russian devices DO NOT HAVE PROTOCOLS!! A “TRUE” Russian Stimulator must have both a high frequency of 2500 Hz (50% duty cycle at 50 Hz) combined with a 10-50-10 Russian protocol.

What is a 10-50-10 protocol? This protocol provides a 10 second super intense muscle contraction followed by 50 seconds of rest and repeats this cycle 10 times. A Russian stimulator allows for deep muscle pe*******on and a stronger more complete contraction of the muscle fibers, very different from an EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulator) unit. What is meant by 50% duty cycle at 50 Hz? This refers to the amount of bursts per second. There are 50 bursts per second and each burst is applied with a 2500 Hz carrier frequency which provides that strong and complete muscle contraction.

This unit also incorporates interferential (INF) therapy for deep tissue pain relief and edema (inflammation) reduction. Utilizing a 4000 Hz (hertz) carrier frequency mimics the body’s own frequency allowing the therapeutic therapy to pe*****te deep into tissue.

Our BioKnit® conductive garments and pads take the place of traditional adhesive electrodes when used in conjunction with an electrical stimulation device. Garments are woven with silver thread to provide even stimulation to the entire covered area. Indicated for patients suffering from arthritis, neuropathy, carpel tunnel, tennis elbow, ACL/MCL injuries, low back pain and several other conditions.
