To our Bullfrog family— thank you! Thank you for taking time to help set up last night. Thank you for hanging with us through a delayed start this morning. Thank you for covering multiple shifts. Thank you for getting absolutely drenched with us. For chasing tents. For helping others. For trying to save as much stuff as possible. Thank you for coming back tonight to help clean up and pack stuff away. You all are rockstars and your help is truly appreciated!!

Norris City’s Miss Kali Kittinger has earned this week’s So Doughlicious Swimmer of the Week honor! This 6-year old swimmer tied for 1st place high point trophy at Carmi’s swimvitational last Saturday. Kali can legally swim all 4 of the competitive strokes. This little dynamite is dedicated to practice and competition alike all while balancing softball, gymnastics, and competitive cheer. She is proof that hard work and determination bring about success! You can come out to support this young Bullfrog this weekend as Carmi will host the Illiana Conference Swim Meet. She is sure to qualify for the All Star Swim Meet in Effingham, IL later in July. Then you will find Kali wearing a MTV swim suit and cap as she will once again swim in Mt Vernon, IN this winter as a USA swimmer!

Congratulations to Micah Clevenger this week’s So Doughlicious Bullfrog Swimmer of the Week! This is this 11-year-old’s first year on the swim team, and the Bullfrogs are so proud to call him their teammate. His eagerness to improve is phenomenal. His listening skills along with his drive to improve are major reasons he has continued to cut time in his events. Equally impressive is his eagerness to help with set-up and tear-down for practice and meets. He can be found cheering on his teammates and doing acts of kindness for coaches, board members, and teammates. We invite all to come watch Micah swim the breaststroke for the very first time in a competition, and you can also cheer on his Bullfrog teammates when you show up Saturday morning at our home swim meet. There will be over 100 area swimmers competing! If you think swimming is easy or boring, you might be surprised when you watch some of the hardest working athletes found in White County make a splash! You’ll see state level swimmers battling it out in the water!!!

Twelve year-old Grady Sisco was last week’s So Doughlicious Swimmer of the Week! At the Fairfield Invitational swim Meet on Saturday, June 28th, Grady swam personal bests in all four of his individual events. Without his individual contribution and relay involvement, the Bullfrogs would not have been able to finish ahead of their host team. Grady is a prime example of the importance of doing your best day-in and day-out for the best of a team. While many his age sleep in during the summer, Grady can be found hitting the water at 8:00 AM along with his advanced level team mates. The Bullfrogs are so fortunate to have such a good friend and team mate. Thanks, Grady!!!

Ryland Cole is this week’s So Doughlicious Swimmer of the week! This 12-year old Carmi Bullfrog from Norris City scored 30 points at Saturday’s Olney Invitational Swim Meet earning the 1st place high point trophy for 12 & Under boys. This large meet was attended by swim teams from Olney, Effingham, Fairfield, Carmi, Wabash Valley Indiana, Charleston, Wabash Valley Illinois, and Greene County. In this large field of swimmers, Ryland came away with a 30 second cut in the 100 Individual Medley for a personal best swim. He was the fastest 12 & Under 50 freestyle swimmer at the meet. Ryland is a hard worker in the pool and a great role model in and out of the water. If you see him, be sure to congratulate this fine young athlete! We invite you all to stop by the Carmi Municipal Swimming Pool to witness the efforts of our 70+ swimmers at our Carmi Swimvitational on Saturday, July 12th. You’ll be amazed!!!

Meet 6-year-old Memphis Moseley, this week’s SoDoughlicious Swimmer of the week! In his first ever meet as a Bullfrog, Memphis secured 3 blue ribbons-1st place in both the 6&U 25 yard freestyle and the 25 yard backstroke as well as swimming up an age group to help the Boys 8&U bring home the win in the 100
Yard Medley Relay as Carmi hosted Wabash Valley Sharks out of Mt Carmel and the Mt Vernon, IN swim teams. This is just the start of many blue ribbons for this dedicated Bullfrog. Memphis and the Bullfrogs want to thank So Douglicious for the support and extend an invitation to come to the Bullfrog’s home meet against Fairfield on Tuesday, June 24th. Come watch the excitement!!!
