Judy's Team

Judy's Team I grew up in my Father’s printing business. This is where I learned what hard work, dedication, and the value of a penny really is. I then started Suehr Cargo.

After High School I left for college when I returned home, I continued working with my Father and eventually started at UPS. I was first offered an entry level position however I found that in between the vehicles I had a good amount of free time. I started jumping in to help the staff unload trailers and after a short time I was working a shift when the power went out immediately, I begin to give

direction and facilitate alternate arrangements on how to still complete our work that day. The next day I reported for my shift to find a local teamster waiting to speak to me. All my extra efforts have not gone unnoticed. I was on the spot promoted to the Local Sort Supervisor. From there I applied my work ethics and dedication to my everyday life at UPS. I continued to flourish with the company. I had gained an incredible amount of knowledge about logistics and after much thought decided to start my own Cargo Business. I purchased my first truck with 364.00 dollars to my name. I repaired the truck myself and begun my journey. Since then, I have grown the business to a large successful cargo business. I employee 68 plus drivers, have 20 box trucks, and 20 cargo vans. I have contracts with some of the largest fortune 500 companies. One day while delivering office supplies on a cargo route I came across a gentleman who was sitting outside the complex. He yelled to me “Hey buddy I will help you deliver those supplies if you give me a ride home” I laughed and waved and continued making my delivery. When I returned to my vehicle, I noticed the gentleman still there waiting. I remember it being an exceptionally hot Summer day. As we began talking, I soon realized he was not joking. He had been waiting for over two hours for his ride home that was less then 15 minutes away. I offered to ride him home helping him in the front seat and loading his wheelchair in the back. As we drove, he vented about the service that left him waiting for over 2 hours on that hot sunny day. He told me repeatedly about how frequently this happens to him and others. At that very moment I realized I have the means to change this, so I then started Judy’s Team. I then initiated the venture with Judy’s team that was named after my Mother. I personally hand pick all staff that is hired to ensure the staff fits into the business model I am operating. It started small and grew rapidly. We have contracts with some of the largest non-emergency medical transportation providers in the industry. Currently Judy’s Team is the 7th NEMT provider in the state. We are currently working on becoming an accredited provider with NEMTAC. I like to take time to assign myself on a transport trip weekly. It reminds me of true reason I started this business and only drives me harder to continue making advancements. I can make a difference in the lives of the people that we transport. Even though the client may only be in my vehicle for a short window myself and my drivers can still make an impact in their life. When you pick someone up from an appointment you never know what they are experiencing. They could have just left a medical appointment and were told they have cancer, or they may have not had the outcome they were hoping for. They may have heard the most promising news. You just never know, however. I can promise for the short time they are in my vehicle with my drivers they will only experience patience, support, hope and ears that are willing to listen. We may not be able to change the news of the appointment they just had but we are able to let them know we genuinely care.
