CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning program. We have designed our program to elicit as broad an adaptational response as possible. CrossFit is not a specialized fitness program but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of ten recognized fitness domains. They are Cardiovascular and Respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy. The CrossFit Program was developed to enhance an individual’s competency at all physical tasks. Our athletes are trained to perform successfully at multiple, diverse, and randomized physical challenges. Absolutely anyone from grandparents to elite athletes! Anyone who wants to perform acts of daily living with healthy body movements and get into great shape while doing it! We have a true sense of community with an absolutely fun and supportive group of people who all workout together and urge each other on daily. What we offer at Carroll CrossFit:
Everyone starts with a Fundamentals Class. This includes 6 one on one half our personal training sessions:
- 7 point fitness assessment to give a baseline of starting fitness. These are performed free at the end of each quarter.
- 4 technique sessions learning most of the basic movements of CrossFit that will be used in class
- A nutrition session learning the basics of the Zone nutrition program.

Probably the number one thing I hear about this program that most people like the best is the community. A group of like-minded people going through the same struggles and doing it together. Cheering each other on and encouraging each other. If that’s something you’re interested in joining, come on in this Saturday for a free body weight workout. It is for all skill levels whether you’ve never been in a Fitness class before or you’re a former athlete. Everyone can get something out of it. And it’s free. Starts at eight so I’ll be a little bit early to get warmed up and we will be done by 8:30 AM.

We always love having new faces in our Saturday class. It’s a bodyweight day so anybody can join it. And it will be a challenge for even the season exerciser but can be scaled down even if you’ve never stepped into a gym before. You know you need to start somewhere. Why not here?

What have you done for your health lately? How about some free exercise? It’s all bodyweight geared movements to fit any fitness level from beginner to advanced. And the best part, it’s an awesome group of people to get through the movements with. Starts at 8 AM tomorrow so be early to warm up so you have plenty of time to talk with all the familiar faces you’ll see.
