KCB has moved!!

After almost a decade spent on the Tanner Health System campus, Keep Carroll Beautiful (KCB) closed its doors to the Dixie Street office on December 22nd, 2021. Read more in the press release attached.

The Keep Carroll Beautiful Board and Staff are extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to use the Tanner Health System's facilities as it allowed the organization to grow and prosper over the years.

What does this mean for:

RECYCLING EVENTS
No changes to the recycling amnesty events are planned - if anything, we are hosting events in more locations this spring and keeping the TWO dates for E-Recycling and Tired of Tires. Household Hazardous Waste is scheduled for mid-May. We are working on scheduling the Paper Shredding as well.

CLEANUP EVENTS
Great GreenBelt Cleanup is scheduled for March 26th and we hope to schedule a county-wide cleanup week in April! Earth Day anyone? We need your input to make it work! If you want to clean up your road, block, neighborhood, or community spot - let us know and we will provide supplies and guidance!

CLEANUP PROGRAMS
Adopt-A-Road and Adopt-A-Trail are going strong! Scheduling supply pickups will require extra notice - please email or DM KCB a week in advance to make sure we have all the items ready!

RECYCLING IN KCB OFFICE
Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept batteries in the new location for a few months. Don't worry - the batteries will be still accepted at our events!
Absolutely no drop-off of any kind at the old location, please!
We can’t wait to tell you about West Haralson Elementary School's efforts towards kindness, compassion, and inclusion! We are so grateful towards school sponsor Marsha Gentry, principal Kim Causey, and Tanner Health System for aiding student leaders in inspiring their peers to Be THE Voice! Does anyone know if you can get blood drawn in the Tanner lab? Is it in the pavilion? Have been digging around the website with no information found for half an hour, and need to know when the lab opes in the morning... if it does.

I do not mean LabCorp. I mean Tanner Hospital.
Why would you have an EMT in Carrolton telling residents that he has seen more people die following a vaccine than of the disease?
Thanks Sis for sharing and caring you are an awesome busy busy WOMAN!
Congratulations GURLEY for being presented with a Flag from the ATLANTA POLICE DEPARTMENT HONOR GUARDS for your service and retirement as an ATLANTA POLICE OFFICER.
I am glad to know that since you have been hospitalized for over a month that you finally got outside visitors by way of this special ceremony that involved the participation of the hospital staff as well.
Brother I am a witness that Almighty GOD is the one and only MIRACLE WORKER that has Miraculously Blessed you with healing! Praise, Honor and Glory to GOD for all that he does.
Undoubtedly your ancestral Spiritual Heavenly Angels are proudly watching in adoration.

Thanks to all the Atlanta Police Officers, The Front Medical Staff and Doctors that joined in to make this a historical celebration!
YOU ALL ARE SALUTED FOR YOUR SERVICES.
We received some very welcomed relief at our Tanner Health System campuses today! 20 guardsmen are assisting the West Georgia community for the next few weeks. They are giving our healthcare workers support as we continue to battle COVID-19.

Thank you to our healthcare workers, our guardsmen, and Governor Brian Kemp for helping our community! #gapol
