A frequent question lately has been how to find specific records on family members that are outside the United States. There is a site through Family Search that has the most amazing section.

It's called Research WIKI. You click on the section of the world you need and then the specific country you need. You can then find information on how to find the documents you are in need of.

FAMILY TREE HELP --

I'm looking for interest in a zoom class on working on family history and searching for records on a Monday evening, Thursday evening. I will collect responses for one week.

If you take the class and there are specific things you need help with, I can set up a second, etc. meetings to work with your family.

I realize that not all people are doing zoom. If you need to do this over Facebook messenger or over the phone, please let me know. There is a way we can do this over the phone, as there is a share code through Family Search that will allow me to see your information on my computer and I'll be able to help that way. After the help is done, the code can easily be changed or stopped.

Also, your family can come over to my place and work on your family tree here. I have 3 computers and working 32" screen, as well as Chromecast and Spectrum high speed available here in my home. With the high-speed, we can work outside or inside and with wifi and I have a bench and seating available outside.

I have discovered Zoom from all the posts lately from the ward and have gotten on board.

I also started 3 channels for family search family history and indexing and I have two separate zoom accounts. I can display my screen on one account and then see what's being shown on the other.

I was wondering if anyone is interested in LEARNING to do their family history work or indexing. I've tried it with Joshua's account a couple times now and it looks like it would work.

CHANNELS:
1. Family Ward Family Search & Indexing -- (people can shoot out questions or encourage each other on family history or indexing topics)

2. Family Searching indexing education. -- People on the list would all be beeped for class and could message people on the list in between.
----- You can also leave questions or topics you would like to learn more about.
-----new jobs available would be added.
-----tell me your area of interest - naturalization paper, veterans, marriage, etc.

3. Family History education -- People on the list would all be beeped for class and could message people on the list in between.

------ Family members or parts of the family you've been looking for for a long time and AAAAHHHHH!
------have you looked for published materials written by your family about your family? Do you know how to find them?
