As we all take a step forward, into the fall, the sun becomes even more beloved to me. ☀️

I have a hard time letting go of summer because the sun gives me so much!! I thrive on the warmth & the light of the sun. As the days get shorter and we see less of it, it becomes even more important to create little rituals that bring us that same sense of light, warmth, and joy. Taking care of ourselves; whether through a cozy bath, quiet moments of rest, or intentional self-care is how we carry that sun energy with us through the darker months. 🌞✨

I have so much love for these two. Funky Junk truly changed the course of my life.. in the days of the storefront, I was honored to have my creations there and it was just setting me up for another beautiful adventure. Over the years, I’ve participated in countless events and watched Funky Junk grow into something even more full of love, soul, and community. Along the way, I’ve grown too, both personally and through the opportunities this event has brought.

It’s such a gift to witness people pour their whole heart and soul into something and see it flourish, not just once, but again and again. Chris and Whitney, thank you for everything you do, for Funky Junk, for bringing this community together, and for every single one of us who are apart of it. We love you deeply.
