April is Alcohol Awareness Month

Did you know that regular alcohol use is linked to several cancers, including breast, liver, mouth, throat, and esophagus?

Alcohol can:
- Damage cell DNA
- Affect hormone levels (like estrogen)
- Increase absorption of other harmful substances

Take steps to reduce your risk:

âś… Limit or avoid alcohol
âś… Eat a balanced diet & stay active
âś… Talk to your provider about your personal risk factors

Even small lifestyle changes can lead to long-term health benefits. Cutting back on alcohol is one powerful step toward cancer prevention.
