⭐Cassville Fishing Club Anglers Qualify for National Championship ⭐

Members of the Cassville Fishing Club, Deagan Gross and Colton Yockey, competed in the third and final qualifier of the Missouri B.A.S.S. Nation Youth Tournament held March 15 at Pomme de Terre Lake.

The wildcat duo brought in a total weight of 7.42 pounds, earning third place in the tournament. Anglers faced rapidly changing weather throughout the day, including a 30-degree temperature drop, 35 mph winds, and three-foot whitecaps on the lake.

Gross and Yockey secured their final two keeper bass in the last two hours of the tournament, helping them finish strong in the standings.

With the third-place finish, the pair also maintained their lead in the overall Missouri B.A.S.S. Nation Youth points standings, earning them a berth to compete at the National Championship on Kentucky Lake later this year.
