Like any good grown-up, I'm a couple of months late posting this....but I wanted to share about my experiences hosting a few booths at local Castle Rock events. 

You may have seen Rooted at Concert Under the Lights⭐️ or Douglas County Pride🏳️‍🌈 this past August or Oktoberfest🍺 in September. 

At all the events I got to share with the community that I live in, 🏠the wondeful opportunities Rooted has to offer! 

I met people looking for services for themselves or a friend. I got to connect with so many other professionals that I would not have met otherwise.👭👬👫

I also got to talk to folks who are apprehensive about therapy, hear their concerns, and let them know that I offer something else...🌿Nature Based Talk Therapy🌿

These were exciting experiences, and I really loved reaching out in this way.

I am a quote person...I like this one because, as a therapist who uses a narrative approach, it speaks to me.

Narrative therapy is a therapeutic approach that helps individuals examine and rewrite their life stories in more empowering and positive ways. It involves externalizing problems, deconstructing dominant narratives, and collaboratively creating new, preferred narratives. This approach is used to address a variety of psychological and emotional issues by focusing on clients' strengths and the cultural and societal contexts that influence their lives.

We are powerful people!!!! And our brains are powerful tools for change!!!

I work with individuals, couples, and families to rewrite the stories that do not serve them anymore.
