Choosing presence over escapism…
My 72-hour fast last week made me realize how much time must be given to silence and stillness. 🙏🏻
I’ve never been one who easily sits still, yet it’s so powerful.
I’ve also not been one who loved pure silence, yet now I embrace it when I make space for it.
Presence isnt always silence & stillness though. It’s also connecting with others through conversation , moving your body to music, or being inspired by a message someone shares.
However, I’m finding it the BALANCE between movement & stillness and sound & silence that is the highest form of presence.
We tend to escape in ways that we don’t even recognize to either fill the void or run away from the outer chaos…yet being present in the moments of each is where the real magic lies.
Escapism is based on distraction while presence is a form of devotion.
I have some very special devotional practices that I’m looking forward to sharing this weekend to initiate a beautiful state of presence.
If you’re craving the balance between movement & stillness, silence & sound, and connecting with others as you tune in to yourself, then join us for our last 2025 gathering during the sweet solstice.
Maybe the ‘escape’ you’re looking for isn’t outward, but in the places within you and in a space that holds you. 🥰
We’ll be gathering at 3pm and begin with intention setting to accept your shadow and ignite your inner light before kundalini yoga to clear stagnant emotional energy.
You’ll be gently guided through a chakra journey to beats as you let loose and shed your outdated version of yourself before resting in silence to listen to your soul.
Afterwards, you’ll float (or rest on land) to healing frequencies designed to calm your overactive mind and soften your body before closing with an inspiring ceremony of light.💫 We’ll sip mocktails, snack on bites & soak in the hot tub following the main session to share our hopes and visions for 2026.
DM me to register as space is extremely limited.
