Happy Monday! Join me this morning for Yoga Basics at Rolling Brook Yoga! We will explore poses that help to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles. A stable pelvic floor helps to support the spine, contributes to better posture and yes can help with continence. Starting Monday, June 2nd from 9:30-10:45 a.m. you can join me for Yoga Basics at Rolling Brook Yoga!

What you can expect from this class. You will learn the fundamentals of basic standing, seated, and supine poses with attention to precision of movement and body alignment. We will explore the breath and how this enables us to be more attentive on the mat. You will be given detailed instructions and offered modifications in order to experience poses in a way that caters to you! With regular and consistent practice, you will develop a mind-body connection while improving strength and flexibility. Yoga Basics is the first building block for anyone new to yoga or for anyone looking to refine their yoga practice. Class is suitable for all abilities. Hope to see you on the mat. 🧘‍♀️

My Beginner Yoga Series is back! Starting this Saturday, Ap[ril 12th from 1-2 p.m. at Rolling Brook Yoga Studio.
This four week series will help you build a foundation for your yoga practice through basic seated and standing poses, breath work, and meditation. Students will receive step-by-step guidance as they progress through the poses and the course. You will also receive handouts to take home of the poses each week. This course if for beginners and anyone looking to get back to their practice!
Dates: April 12,19,26 and May10 Time: 1-2 p.m.

Busy week? Feeling overwhelmed or anxious? Tired or stressed? Join me tonight for the practice of Yoga Nidra which can help promote deep relaxation, stress reduction, and improve sleep.
What to expect. Class starts with breath work and gentle stretching to help prepare the body for a 30-40 minute guided meditation to bring you in to a state of deep relaxation, by activating the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for rest and recovery. As the body relaxes, stress hormones decrease, creating a sense of calmness and tranquility.

Yoga experience is not necessary. Reserve your space at www.rollingbrookyoga.com.

Class is held the first Friday of each month at Rolling Brook Yoga from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in person or on Zoom.
