To the Pops who did it all!
So thankful for this man and the presence of play and unconditional love he has permeated through my life.
As I have grown, travelled, and connected with people all over I have come to realize how special the essence of PLAY is.
To know this man is to know his childlike wonder and curiosity. From his endless jokes/pranks, to his way of seeing the good in all things, and his ability to love without condition.
I did not realize how important this reminder would be in my own life. He has always had a way of calling me back to the joy of life, even when everything feels like it’s falling apart.
His hugs hold magical healing powers. He instantly can bring me from tears to laughter and no matter what I have come to him with in life he meets it with LOVE.
He continues to teach me so much as I forage forward as the black sheep healing my lineage.
Grateful for the work and it’s way of bringing me back to my own childlike wonder.

VULNERABLE
TENDER
RAW
The essence of the divine feminine is ever-flowing and evolving, shape shifting with the universe in all of its divine majesty.
This morning I had such a special moment with my inner child as she met me on my yoga mat.
I was dripping sweat, giving so much gratitude to my body for moving in all the ways that it does.. when that little girl reached out for the biggest hug and whispered “THANK YOU”, then followed many tears.
Today I found myself on a yoga mat, in the very town that my inner child experienced so much pain and trauma. In this environment…
She felt so much judgement
She felt so much shame
She felt so much hatred for her body
She felt so much unworthiness
She felt she did not belong
And she didn’t have much support
As I watched my body move and sweat I was in awe of how far we have come. With each movement, each bead of sweat, and each tear that streamed down my face I melted into so much love and gratitude for that little girl who always knew we would find our way back to self.
Today I got to claim what I know is my truth.
I LOVE my body wholly and completely in every moment and in every way that it is.
I RELEASE the stories of shame, they were never meant to be held onto.
I FREE myself from the judgement of others, because I KNOW who I am and I get to meet them with love and compassion
I VALUE my mind, body, spirit in the deepest love and devotion
I am WORTHY because I am and there is nothing I ever need to do in order to feel worthy
I no longer compare myself and my body to other women and instead choose to celebrate them in their magic and beauty
Healing alongside other women has been the deepest activation for me. Healing my wounded feminine energy and softening into my divine feminine essence has lead me here.

Which is a greater risk?
To stay comfortable, “safe”, stuck in the fear of the unknown and find yourself exactly in the same spot as your are right now over and over again.

It took 34 years of life for me to fully grasp the inner standing of being HELD.
This moment was the initiation of that understanding. It was, and I imagine will always be, one of the most vulnerable, raw, tender moments of my entire life.
It was an initiation, an activation, a remembrance.
It was a complete and total death and rebirth.
And of course it was all so DIVINE.. because isn’t it always?
The initiation began within myself. The start of doing the deepest work within myself to restore safety to my mind, body, spirit. I was excavating for years. Digging into the deepest wounds within myself and my lineage. Slicing them open and getting to the core of the trauma that had been held onto for lifetimes. Sometime it was complete and total agony, but I knew what was on the other side of that pain, and I knew it was the only way.
The initiation lead to DEEP feeling and that feeling lead to restored safety within myself.
The activation then came, as I had started to gain my sense of self it was now to be explored in relationship to those around me. The biggest activation was in the process of healing the wounds of sisterhood and breaking down the stories of unworthiness, abandonment, and hierarchy. As I sat in sacred spaces with women and began to see the tender threads we all shared, it made the pain feel less lonely. I started to lean on them for support and the stories of judgment began to melt away.
To hear the words, “there is nothing you can ever do or say to make me go away” and know with every ounce of my being the truth to that, sunk me to my knees in awe and gratitude.

The divine feminine is…
Intuitive

Grounded

Compassionate

Magnetic

Vulnerable

Creative

She surrenders to the sweet unknown and knows that there is nothing more she needs to “do”, in fact, she accomplishes so much more by “being”
Being raised in a world where we are taught to be in our hyper masculine energy has stripped us of our divine feminine power.
This past weekend I sat in ceremony with the grandmother and saw fully what it means to be held in safe masculine energy him order to be fully expressed in the magic and madness of the divine feminine.
Just like water the essence of the feminine can be gentle, kind, nurturing.. but it can also be powerful, intense, and destructive.
I am learning more and more what it means to be in this delicate dance of my own masculine/feminine energy. To not be afraid to be seen as “too much” and to know that there are pillars of support out there holding anchors of safety for my fullest feminine expression.
Women are getting more and more activated in their divine truths and gifts. I am in the deepest gratitude for the women in my field. Those past present and future who are not afraid to go deep within themself, do the work, and find their way back to themself!

The relationship we have with ourself is the most important and equally can be the most challenging.
We exist in a world where choosing to love ourself first is seen as selfish.
We exist in a world where being self-sacrificial is celebrated.
We exist in a world where people pleasing is the norm, you know, saying “yes” when you really mean “no”
We exist in a world where we are taught to seek validation in everything outside of ourself.
We exist in a world where we are made to believe that we are entirely separate from the whole.
When I work with clients and support them in starting to choose and honor their self often times they are met with SO MUCH resistance because they feel “selfish” and it feels wrong or even dirty to choose and honor self first.
When in reality the absolute most loving thing we can do for ourself, everyone in our life, and the collective is to show up and love ourself!
To pour endless amounts of unconditional love and compassion into ourself.. because what we heal in ourself we heal in the collective.
It is not selfish to love yourself… in fact it is so f**king sexy to fall madly in love with yourself!
