Insurance only covers testing if you have a diagnosis that justifies the test. But routine testing can lead to early detection of eye diseases that we might not have been able to detect otherwise. We offer the optional wellness testing at a discounted rate to our patients because we believe it can be that valuable. Some patients choose to do it every year, some every other year. And you can always choose not to do it at all. If you have questions about the wellness testing, ask any of our staff members!
