"I JUST NEED TO DO IT!".....
Here's why you can't.
I had the pleasure of having coffee ☕️ with a woman today from our local Professional Women's Network about speaking at one of their events. (Very excited for this BTW)
I described to her the symptoms so many women experience that they are looking for a solution to…
Fatigue, Brain fog, Moodiness, Cravings, Sporadic eating habits, Weight gain/trouble losing weight, Trouble sleeping, Stress… the list goes on, right? 🙇♀️
“You’re speaking to me!” She said. “I’ve tried EVERYTHING to become healthier.” and then went on to list the things she's tried that most women have at one time or another.
“I know I need to just eat better food, workout consistently, get better sleep, and relax to see results. Ugh. I just need to DO IT!”
So I asked her, “So what is preventing you?”
“Im so busy during the day and then exhausted by the time I get home, the last thing I want to do is prep meals or work out.”
… at this point I get excited to help because she is NOT the first nor will she BE the last to describe this EXACT struggle and I know the proven solution.
SERIOUSLY - RAISE YOUR HANDS IN THE COMMENTS IF THIS STRUGGLE IS YOUR STICKING POINT TOO.
Whether it’s in the morning, mid-day, evening, or weekend that you have time for your self-care but are struggling to take advantage of it…. if you feel there’s an overwhelming aversion to actually executing those actions - THATS WHAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED FIRST.
“Lemme ‘splain; no lemme sum up”:
HORMONES… You under-fueled, over-worked, under-slept…. and now they’re mad. 😡

And then ✨VOILA✨… you have energy, you have clarity, your cravings are manageable, you’re not snapping at everyone… and THEN you can actually take those (MUCH EASIER) first steps to building that dream self-care routine......
