We have proudly served the Cedar Rapids area since 1982, when Dr. Donald B. Johnson established our practice. The Dermatology Clinic of Iowa has now embraced a new chapter in its journey of providing exemplary dermatologic care. Dr. David Knutson, alongside our newest partner, Dr. Caroline Morris, continues our legacy of excellence. Dr. Morris is not only a Board-Certified Dermatologist but also a specialist in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, bringing a wealth of expertise and a strong focus on skin cancer treatment to our team.

Meet our newest provider! Dr. Matthew Landherr, is a board-certified dermatologist and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He grew up in Marion, IA before graduating from Iowa State University with a degree in biology. From there, he completed medical school at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society. He completed an internship at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, HI and then returned to Iowa to complete a dermatology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, graduating in 2017. Post-residency, he practiced both in private practice and at the University of Iowa prior to joining the team at Dermatology Clinic of Iowa P.C.

Dr. Landherr enjoys working with patients of all ages and has interest in both medical and surgical dermatology. He is a compassionate dermatologist dedicated to providing personalized care to his patients. He is known for his friendly demeanor and for trying to make each visit a positive experience.

Outside of the office, Dr. Landherr enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and fishing. He is excited to be back in Cedar Rapids and to provide care for this home community.
