đ¨ Letâs bust a bottle-feeding myth real quick.
The idea that babies need to âlevel upâ ni**le sizes based on age?
Thatâs marketing⌠not physiology.
đś The human ni**le doesnât magically change flow as babies get older.
đź So bottle ni**les donât have to either.
Most babies do best staying on a slow flow ni**le (often preemie or level 1) for the entire year of bottle feeding - as long as theyâre feeding efficiently and safely.
Flow changes can be appropriate in certain situations - but theyâre not automatic, and theyâre not age-based.
⨠When in doubt, zoom out.
A feeding evaluation can take the guesswork out of these decisions and make sure weâre supporting the baby, not the label on the package.
đ SAVE this for the next time youâre standing in the bottle aisle (or second-guessing a ni**le switch at 2 a.m.).
