We want our pets to eat well, and stay as healthy as they can for the highest quality of life.

They depend on us to be at our best, too. Part of that is becoming aware of ways we can make educated choices with the foods we select for our own meals, and if we cook "human-food" to our pets. Today, with all the GMO-this and bio-engineered-that, we may not know that we are putting ultra-processed foods into out bodies. So, I thought I'd share this post from my emerging private practice health coaching practice Holistic Approach Health Coach LLC .

I've been working in health and wellness for 20+ years, for companies, and now I'm branching out with my experience and establishing a private practice that fosters a holistic approach to our health and wellness.

In 2020 I started on a journey to kick refined sugar out of my diet to lose weight, and in the process of losing 60+ pounds, I became more and more educated on how sugar feeds disease. The mission became bigger into preventing disease/illness risk of conditions that have touched my family:
cancer,
dementia,
Alzheimerr's disease,
Diabetes II,
the list goes on.

As a caretaker of my family (including my fur babies), I want to know I'm taking an active role in health promotion.

Holistic Approach Health Coach LLC is evidence-based health coaching and holistic modalities for stress-relief, support of the mind-body-spirit connection, and even disease-prevention.

Pets often play a role in benefitting our mind-body-spirit connections:
-stress-relief (mind)
-increased movement together (body)
-unconditional love (spirit)

I love being able to support other women who are animal lovers and working hard to bring caring options for pet care to pet parents who need or want to be gone for vacations, work, emergencies, etc. I've pet sat Hannah’s Happy Hounds Pet Sitting 's own sweet doggies and I can tell she treats them with lots of love. If she is booked when a request comes in she sends people my way, and I will certainly do the same for her. 🩷🐾

Getting lots of outside time during this overnight (4-day) pet sitting opportunity. ☀️These beautiful & sweet pups and I have seen hummingbirds, mourning doves, gold finches, sparrows, cardinals, orioles, and squirrels so far today. Keeping their routines steady while their pet parents need to be gone for a bit. Giving lots of cuddles. 🐾 Working from WiFi 💻👩‍💻
