A standing act of care through my work at Wellness Studio.

Starting now, every facial or esthetic service booked with me on a Tuesday will directly support Ayoub Aladaa and his family in Gaza—people I know personally and speak to every single day.

Ayoub is not a stranger.
He’s not an anonymous face in a news story.
He is my friend—a recent university graduate, the eldest son in his family, and a radiant light despite everything he’s endured.

I’ve FaceTimed him. I’ve verified his story. I’ve seen the weight loss, the trauma, and the resilience in real-time. I’ve combed through his digital footprint and mapped the reality of his life before and during this genocide. This is as real and personal as it gets.

His home is now rubble. His family lives in a tent. They’ve lost loved ones. And they continue surviving day by day.

Happy Women’s Day! A Personal Note:

This year, I have been releasing fear around the power of a woman. The intuition seated in her womb, the creativity and life bringing force resting in her warm, full belly and between her legs. I celebrate this, and revere it. I honor and respect it. I embrace it and do not care about keeping it discreet for those are uncomfortable with it. For centuries, society, fearing what they cannot comprehend, has been afraid of a woman’s creative healing abilities with herbs, alchemy, love, touch and energy and has labeled her a w***e, a witch or demon. God is not a God of fear. We walk in perfect love which casts out fear. Embracing our innate abilities and powers, refusing to dim ourselves to make others more comfortable.

Women, I see you, some of you even before you see yourselves. And I invite you to dine with yourself, relishing your own company, alchemizing your strife into wisdom, and being proud of your power. To the men who serve us, protect us, build with us, we cherish you. To the men who hunger for us with no direction, no discipline, or knowing of themselves- who live suppressed lives shrouded in shame and fear, who can’t stop thinking of us and how they would devour us, stomp on us, or batter us, the stars have told of your exposure, your shriveling, and your torment. You can act however you choose to, but the consequences begin with no rest or peace and end in karmic suffering.

Women- we win in our era. Get on board or be left watching on the sidelines, wishing, obsessing or rotting with jealousy which you don’t understand. Lucky for us, this is our era this time around.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT! 📣

I’m excited to announce that I have started a new journey as an Esthetics Instructor at Aveda Frederic’s Institute! 👩🏻‍🏫

As your good souls know, growth and empowerment are as vital to me as fresh air and I’m excited to offer that through education.

As an Aveda alumni myself, I’m grateful for the foundation laid for me through Aveda’s dedication to meaningful ingredients, whole body treatment and sustainability.

I will still be working at Wellness Studio as an Esthetician, as that is where I fill my cup in body, mind and spirit and recharge through giving services to each of you. You can find solace in knowing that now is not the time for navigating a new change without keeping home (Wellness Studio) in the center of it all 😉

I look forward to continuing to serve each of you as I hone in and sharpen up my foundational knowledge and continue to transfer my caring intentions for each of your services. See you soon! 💕

Rooted in Asian beauty, my approach to esthetics is against the status quo and encourages critical thinking, honesty, and exploring the body as a whole. TCM and Ayurvedic practices are not a trend. They’re tried and true and honor nature both within and outside of the body.

Apothecary style facials - where your facial products are chosen and built different every time not only mean your esthetician HAS to be knowledgeable and well versed in the science of the skin and how ingredients work with each other, but it makes space for intuitive connection from your provider which opens up a whole new realm for energetic and spiritual healing during a service where you’re entrusting a stranger with your face- the one part of us that the majority of people do not hide.

My job as an esthetician is to know how to recommend products, diet, exercise and mindfulness practices to heal your body from the inside out. From multiple brands- not just our in house brands.
