I offer one-on-one support, group workshops and community-based speaking engagements on the topic of grief and healing for losses of all kinds. We’re looking forward to our FIRST Grief 101 presentation of the academic year! Join us at the Mashpee Public Library on Tuesday, September 23 at 1 PM to learn “the basics” of Grief: what it is, how it impacts our brains and bodies, and how we can support people in our lives who are going through it. 🩵📚

As part of the program, a Child’s Grief Book Pack will also be donated by Sharing Kindness to the library and made available for patrons to check out. The pack contains 11 books about death and grief for children, as well as a reading guide for adults.

No registration is required for this event. To learn more about Grief 101, visit: https://sharingkindness.org/grief-101/

Self-sabotage is a common pattern that serves no one.

It’s an illusion that we hope means we are in control of “how we get hurt”.

Self-sabotage limits you from experiencing true joy, acceptance and connection.

It’s not a path to safety or emotional healing.

Be mindful of self-sabotage patterns. They can be present any area of life.

For my fellow grievers who are working through childhood or relationship experiences.

Here is where grief work and establishing boundaries makes an enormous difference.

What belongs to you?

What do you truly control?

Spend some time thinking about this.
Your answers may surprise you. 💚

Hi friends,

I want to share a lil something with you. (Ok, it’s actually a big something in my world.)

19 years ago today, I took one of the biggest leaps of faith by buying this beauty for me and my then 7 year old daughter.

Most people thought I was crazy. The economy was rocky, it needed a ton of work, I would be managing things alone…blah, blah, blah… But after enduring the deaths of my father and my son and then going through a divorce, something in me said…BELIEVE.

This leap was about far more than a house (although that’s pretty special). It was about choosing to continue living after so much devastating loss.

It was about believing in the possibility of what life could still offer despite the deep pain I could barely see beyond.

A lot has changed since 2006 - she looks different, has been through many ups & downs, but she has healed and found her way. (I may be referring to myself here.)

This home has sheltered me in more ways than I ever imagined.

I’m so grateful that I took a leap and decided to give “fully living life after loss” a chance. Doing so is one of those decisions that stands out so clearly. Everything else grew from that choice.

Cheers to 19 years of choosing to start again.

Each of us can choose to continue living after loss. I hope you decide to do so for yourself.

BELIEVE. ✨

Be well,
~E 💚
