As your Doula, I will remind you to trust your body and help guide you to your most capable, confident, courageous selves. I support all bodies, all birthing persons — virtually and in-person. We talk through your plans and goals for the birth experience you want, and we discuss your birthing team.

Let’s explore options that include prenatal support, childbirth education, providers and Choices, your rights as a birthing person, comfort measures, partner support, your postpartum care journey, and all of the physical/emotional/educational ways that I can assist you.

Birth is spiritual. I would love to be your Doula and help you beautifully birth at home, in a hospital or birth center, as you desire it.

After 3 weeks of postbacc pre-med classes and exams, I’m spending my Friday “off” inside the hospital. Teaching, learning, shadowing and being immersed in clinical work! Doulas, nurses, midwives and doctors, oh my! INOVA Fairfax in the morning and Fair Oaks this afternoon!

Time to Celebrate! Passage of HB1923 & Medicaid Budget Amendment!!

​Governor Youngkin, on the last day of legislative action, SIGNED HB 1923 and a budget that INCLUDES MEDICAID REIMBURSEMENT PARITY FOR ALL MIDWIVES! Virginia becomes the first state in the nation to recognize autonomous midwifery practice and reimbursement at 100% of fee schedule for all nationally certified midwives! Congratulations Virginia!!!!
