We talk through your plans and goals for the birth experience you want, and we discuss your birthing team.

port, childbirth education, providers and Choices, your rights as a birthing person, comfort measures, partner support, your postpartum care journey, and all of the physical/emotional/educational ways that I can assist you.

Today, I signed the Momnibus — a package of bills to improve and expand healthcare coverage for mothers and families. No mother should have to fear dying during or after childbirth. The United States has the highest maternal mortality rate of any high-income country, and we know Black women are at particularly high risk.

I am deeply grateful for the years of work by Senator L. Louise Lucas, Delegate Margaret Franklin, Destiny for VA, and Laura Jane Cohen to protect mothers and families, and I am proud to sign this legislation into law.
