We took all the kids to visit Pop's grave in April of this year. Fixed his tomb stone and planted a rose bush. Cant believe in just a few short months he will be gone 4 years. The tears still flow and the pain is still strong. But he is having the time of his life in heaven.

Greg's resting place is so peaceful......

What kind of place is Heaven? First, Heaven is home. The Bible takes the word "home" with all of its tender associations and with all of its sacred memories and tells us that Heaven is home.

My sweetie is gone. He now has his ultimate healing. The arrangements to reflect on Greg's life and honor him will be posted soon.

We are in Solace, a Hospice House in Asheville. Very very nice. Greg is not responding today. God gave us a wonderful day yesterday that Greg saw the kids and knew them....touched them. He knew everyone yesterday and talked some. I got a kiss after the ventilator was removed and " I love you too baby". I think yesterday was a gift from God. Wonderful service in honor of Greg before removing ventilator..lots of family and friends. Been lots of those gifts lately. He is resting very peaceful today..just looks like he is sleeping. Enjoying each moment we are given and accepting what comes with that moment.

My sweetie is resting well tonight. Big pretty moon outside our window shining just like he would like! Very peaceful tonight in Room CCU 8.

Greg is more alert today than he has been in at least a week. He moves his head and squeezes our hand to answer. I KNOW this is from God. Whether it a miracle of healing or a blessing of a great with him where he can know us I don't know. We are just enjoying this minute by minute and still yielding to God's will. When I had to make the decision I said I wish God could give us one last wish and that would be for Greg to tell me that he wanted the ventilator removed so I didn't have to make that decision. He nodded yes to me this morning. That was a miracle to me. God have your will and we will praise and honor you for whatever you do. Praise your name for giving us these minutes that have turned into hours today.

Probably my hardest post yet: Greg will be taken off life support at dawn on Sunday morning. He will be in Gods hands at that time without any intervention of man or machine. Our plea tonight is that our friends help us to pray that God will work his perfect will and that we will accept it as just that. We want to thank all our wonderful friends and family for your unwavering prayers and support shown over the last 5 months. Love to you all!
