🌟 Celebrating the Stars of Our Community 🌟

On Saturday, August 30th, Home Health & Hospice proudly joined the Fun Day Parade in Rushville. This year’s theme, “Stars of Our Community,” gave us the perfect opportunity to honor two very special individuals — Mr. and Mrs. Furman of Rushville.

The Furmans were celebrated on our float beneath their very own “Furman Street” sign, drawing smiles, cheers, and admiration all along the parade route. To add to the fun, children were delighted to receive festive star wands as keepsakes. ✨

We are so grateful to be part of such a vibrant and caring community — and honored to serve the true stars who make it shine. 💛

We’re excited to introduce the new Chadron Hospital logo!

The hospital will now be known as Chadron Hospital, a streamlined name that reflects its focus on clear, patient-centered communication and a unified brand across all services. As part of this transition, Western Community Health Resources, Prairie Pines Lodge, Home Health & Hospice, and Legend Buttes Health Services will all align under the Chadron Hospital name and logo, functioning as departments within the Chadron Hospital family.

This unified look reflects our commitment to serving every community with the same compassionate, high-quality care, no matter where you see us.

🌟 Hay Springs Friendly Festival Parade 🌟

This year’s parade theme was “Neighbors, Not Strangers”—and we were proud to join in with our float: “We are one of the People in Your Neighborhood.” 🎶

Our float came to life with some familiar Sesame Street friends:
✨ Elmo on the piano
✨ Big Bird in a nest
✨ Cookie Monster with his cookie
✨ Oscar the Grouch in his trashcan

To tie it all together, we played the classic “People in Your Neighborhood” song as our float rolled down the street. Two lamp posts—one for Home Health and one for Hospice—reminded everyone that we’re here to serve as caring neighbors in your community.

We’re honored to share that our float received the Best Use of Theme Award at the 98th Annual Friendly Festival Parade! 🏆💚

Thank you to everyone who cheered us on—we’re proud to be your neighbors in health and in life.

Our Director, Diana, shared information about our services last week at Chadron Rotary Club.

Last Thursday, our club welcomed Diana Lecher, Director of Chadron Community Hospital Home Health & Hospice.

Diana shared important facts, addressed common myths, and encouraged us to have honest conversations about Hospice and Home Health — topics that can be difficult, but are essential for all of us as we plan for the future.

Keeping Safety in the Driver’s Seat! 🚗🛑
Many of our staff recently participated in a Crash Dynamics Driving Safety Course to better understand the science of crashes and learn life-saving driving techniques. Whether on the road for patient care, community outreach, or everyday commutes, we are committed to keeping both our team and community safe.
