The clinical trial for a new cancer vaccine has opened for RET-positive NSCLC patients currently taking a RET inhibitor. Using the same mRNA technology behind the Covid vaccine, the goal is to train the immune system to recognize and attack cancer cells. This trial is currently enrolling at MD Anderson and select U.S. sites.
