Dear mama,
Most of us are trying to change behavior without realizing we are standing inside an emotional field.
Children don’t experience parenting as instructions — they experience it as atmosphere: the tone of the home, the pace of the mornings, the way your body moves when you’re overwhelmed.
This is not about being calm all the time.
It is about honesty in the body.
A child will trust an angry mother who is present more than a peaceful one who is gone.
What regulates children most is not perfection — it is coherence: when your inside and outside match.
You are not failing your child because you feel things.
You are teaching them how feelings can live safely inside a body.
I’m here with you.
Xo, Kate
