This was a really powerful moment and I felt strongly guided to share this.
After the Ancestral Healing Drum Journey session at River Mountain a bird flew into the barn and literally dropped dead in front of a few of us. I knew that it was not without meaning.
Ancestral guidance or messages:
Some belief systems hold that ancestors or spirits can communicate through animal messengers. A dead bird might be interpreted as a message, a sign of transition, or an affirmation from your ancestors regarding the healing process or a specific issue you are addressing.
Ending of a cycle or transformation:
The death of a bird, in various cultures, is seen as a symbol of change, transformation, or the end of a cycle. In the context of ancestral healing, this could signify the completion of releasing old patterns, beliefs, or energies that no longer serve you or your lineage.
We carried the bird that was sacrificed and layed him to rest on the land with beautiful flowers in gratitude.
