Doing a happy dance at the clinic this week. Lots of wonderful sessions to celebrate, but Brody had a breakthrough moment in our session yesterday. We were having an awesome time on the swing when he started saying “ahhh” with me over and over again. It was the most consistent and purposeful I’ve seen him with his talking. Just when I thought I couldn’t be more proud of him, he imitated me saying “ma” in the silliest of ways! Watching his face light up when he said it was everything 🙌🏻 Moments like that are why I love what I do. Every sound, every word, and every win counts…and today we are celebrating this one!

Easton has been doing absolutely amazing…especially over the last month or so! He has been adding about one new word per week and has even been rocking it on the communication app we’ve been trying out. He has been brave and more willing to try new foods 🙌🏻 So happy and blessed to be a part of his therapy team ❤️

Shout out to Azael! He’s been doing really well over the last month with some tasty treats like chocolate pudding, ice cream and whipped cream. But he shocked everyone in the room this week when he took a small bite off of a banana, chewed it up and swallowed it down like it was nothing 🤯 Then proceeded to do it EIGHT more times! So glad I got to be a part of this special moment 😊 Keep up the great work Azael!!!

Therapy WIN of the week! My friend Deacon showed off what the end of a successful feeding session looks like - lips covered in the remnants of blue cotton candy 😋 He ate 11 bites today!!! So proud of this guy 🤩

"It Just Looks Like Play!" — And That’s the Magic

Deacon had his first visit today to his feeding therapists new office! She has been Deacon’s speech/ feeding therapist since he was 21 months old! (Ever since we moved back to PA)
