“Some of our clients may not have the opportunity to interact directly with a nurse who can perform essential vital checks, such as measuring blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature,” said Amy Young, Director of Nursing at Rosecrance. “Recognizing this gap, we identified the need for an innovative solution that provides accessible and comprehensive care.”

Clients visiting Rosecrance Walnut in Champaign and Rosecrance Ware Center in Rockford can quickly and effortlessly measure their BMI, blood pressure, and weight using clinically validated devices from PharmaSmart. It’s a fantastic step towards better health awareness!

We believe personalized care is the key to effective recovery because everyone’s journey is unique. That’s why we create customized treatment plans tailored to each person’s needs, tracking progress through periodic surveys so we can make real-time adjustments for the best possible outcomes.

One of the tools we use is the Brief Addiction Monitor (BAM), a 17-question survey that helps us measure risk factors, protective factors, and substance use patterns.

The results speak for themselves:
✅ 95% of our outpatient clients showed significant improvement in their overall BAM Use Score.
✅ 67% of our residential clients successfully completed their treatment.

These numbers aren’t just statistics. They represent real people gaining the skills and confidence to build healthier, more fulfilling lives.

🌟 March 28 is National Doctors’ Day! Today, we celebrate the incredible physicians who dedicate their lives to providing compassionate, life-changing care. At Rosecrance, we are grateful for our doctors who help individuals find hope, healing, and recovery every day.

This year, we also want to introduce Dr. Rachel Lee, the newest physician on our team in Champaign, IL. 🎉 As the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Addiction Medicine Physician, Dr. Lee specializes in family medicine, addiction medicine, and acute care. She is passionate about evidence-based treatment, individualized care plans, and a collaborative, patient-first approach.

When she’s not caring for patients, she enjoys hiking, DIY home projects, and spending time with her senior rescue dog, Mr. Murtz. 🐶
