Final stage in the beta testing. Wrapping up the comments from the beta testers. First production arriving in mid January. Assembled in the USA! New website ready to go. With the new website you will be able to order Side Shields, the ELF Informer and other products directly from the web page. New page ready to go. Good things are about to happen!

The Side Shields are $99.95 + shipping + tax. Delivery is about one week after we receive your order plus the shipping time. At this time we are not set up to process credit cards so a check, cashiers check or PayPal is required. Make the check or PayPal payable to Tonka Tronix, Inc. You can also call me if you have any questions – 763-201-1020. The Side Shields come complete with everything you need to install them. Actually, the installation is very simple. All you have to do is to apply the 3M Hook and Loop patches around the inside perimeter of the door opening. Each side takes about 10 minutes to install. As for getting in and out – unzip the zipper, release the 3M Hook and Loop around the sides and bottom and then move the Side Shields out of the way. I prefer to push them out when I get in or out. I guess it is time for an update.

For the last couple of months I have purposely keeping a low profile regarding the development and status of the ELF Informer. I was getting soooo many calls and questions that I thought it would be best for me not to post anything until it was ready. Unfortunately, I am an engineer and not a sales and marketing person. I am learning as I go what I should and should not say and more importantly WHEN I should say something! I want to make sure that all of the issues are resolved before I start shipping the ELF Informers in production quantities. In order to achieve this I am running a beta test program with multiple users and I want to make sure I give them plenty of time to use the ELF Informer in order to bring any issues to my attention. My philosophy is that the ELF Informer will not ship until it is ready – period! It is almost there. I will be sending out two more demo units for testing in the next month. I already have a couple out in testing right now. I have asked the people who have the demo units not to say anything until they are ready for production. So far things are going good. The last remaining issue is that the ELF has gone through a couple of different variations of the wiring harness and the connectors used for the battery and solar panel. This has required me to design multiple versions of the wiring harness in order to make it a plug and play (ride?) device. I believe I now have all of the versions covered. I am working with a couple of contract manufactures for pricing and lead times for the assembly of the ELF Informer. I should be getting this info within the next couple of weeks. I appreciate everyone who is patiently waiting to order an ELF Informer and can honestly say that the wait will be worth it!
