Happy Veterans Day!
Grandpa Lincoln was 20 when he was drafted into the army for WWII & shipped to Casablanca. He said when he landed there on March 9th the orange trees were in bloom. It was the first time he had ever smelled orange blossoms. The older my grandpa got the more he wanted to share his experiences in WWII. He was an amazing man and I am grateful he was my grandpa. 💜

His experience in WWII is recorded through the Veterans Legacy Project under “Edwin (Abe) Lincoln” and is available on Kindle.

My Dad served in the air force and is pictured in the last image at my parents wedding. 💙

May our politicians be wise & grounded - honoring and respecting the lives & families of the individuals who give them power.

Love & deep gratitude to all who served & are currently serving our country.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy - What does that mean?

Biodynamics is the science referring to the innate vitality innervating all living organisms - its what causes our hearts to beat & our bodies to grow, move & repair.

Cranio refers to the cranium - This includes the bones of your skull, brain, eyes, tongue, ears, and all of the fluids and tissues therein.

Sacral refers to the Sacrum - Which is a bone located at the base of your spine.

BCST addresses everything from cranium to sacrum…
meaning it engages the Central Nervous System which is responsible for regulating and directing every process in the body.

This is why BCST can address numerous concerns including (but not limited to) fibromyalgia, digestion issues, headaches, muscle pain, depression, and ptsd.

All the while being gentle enough for an infant and potent enough to elicit lasting change in adults.

Shifting smoothly between work, family, hobbies, rest & other aspects of our day can be challenging at times.

How will I feel after a BCST session? 🤔

BCST is a therapeutic modality; therefore, as with most therapies, your post-session experience may vary.

You may feel light, energized, free and empowered. Sometimes a release will open a sense of spaciousness, deep calm & relief.

Change can also be uncomfortable.

Feeling tired?
Rest in whatever way feels best to you. Allow your body to adjust at its own pace.

Experiencing physical discomfort? Epsom salt baths may offer relief. Drink plenty of water and know, that just like soreness after exercise, physical shifts may take time to settle.

Need to process further?
Reach out to a loved one. At times a simple walk & talk with a familiar smiling face is all we need.

How many BCST sessions WILL it take to feel a change? 🤔

Many clients notice a significant shift after their first session & will continue to schedule weekly for 4 to 6 weeks. When the desired result is realized no further sessions are necessary. 🥳

Clients who feel additional sessions would be beneficial may continue weekly, biweekly, monthly or visits on an as needed basis.

The number of BCST sessions required will depend upon the speed at which your body is resourced to heal. 💚🧠💚

Every body is different. Be patient and realistic with your healing process - Taking into account the severity and length of time an issue has been present.

BCST is also an excellent addition to a self care practice. Self - care Clients will schedule sessions when they are feeling particularly stressed, are need of support, or anytime they would like to treat themselves.

Does Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy involve touch?
Yes BCST is a light touch therapy.

-You remain fully clothed throughout the session, therefore wearing comfortable nonrestrictive clothing is important.
-You will lie on a massage table and rest while I adjust hand holds and positioning to support the release of compensation patterns held within your system.
-At the close of a session you will have the opportunity to share and ask questions if you wish.
Each session is unique and is guided by your Inherent Healing Process.
