📖 Did you know that when I read with toddlers, I often don’t even read the words?

Instead, I focus on connection, joint attention, and language-rich interactions, like labeling, describing, and repeating key words. Books are powerful tools in speech therapy, even when we keep it simple!

✨ We accept and celebrate all forms of communication ✨
Just because a child isn’t using verbal language doesn’t mean they aren’t communicating! Every gesture, sound, expression, or AAC selection has meaning and deserves to be honored. 💬💛

In my latest blog, I share how speech therapy isn’t just about “talking” it’s about building connection, supporting autonomy, and finding the communication method that works best for each individual child.
