“We’ve been taught to acquire things.
Not what to do when they’re taken away.”
Grief is in things we’ve lost big and small. Death, life changes, body changes, regrets, changes on the job, a life pre-pandemic (🙋🏻♀️!!!!!).
Grief is also a HUGE part of our Covid experience. Workers who’ve faced the front lines of it all. The loss of loved ones. The loss of a life permanently changed. The loss of a carefree childhood. The loss of our village. It goes on. And as life gets back to so-called normal, I find myself struggling bc we haven’t really deal with what we’ve just witnessed.
Listening to this podcast helps. Welcome the darkness. Let’s talk about grief with Alexis V.M. Hugelmeyer .
This ep and the rest of her podcast from the perspective of a family doctor with a family of her own interviewing experts is a win-win. Listen up!
