Holidays can be joyful or stressful. Stress has to do with not feeling adequate for what you think you should be up to. Whether it’s financial ( can’t buy all the presents you want to give or pay those bills)!health , relationships or feeling helpless in what’s going on in your life.
Well, there’s another choice.
JOY!
How we react to stress is all up to us.
CHOOSE.
Lean on God, pray for guidance and accept what you have as a blessing . Blessings are all around you . Sometimes you have to look hard but they are there. Our reaction to everything around us is our CHOICE.
Isn’t it wonderful we can choose?
Choose Joy!
I am in major pain due to knee replacement, my family is used to me doing everything . I can’t do squat right now . First I was frustrated that I had to rely on others who I felt couldn’t do everything like me ( I thought I was superwoman) I hate depending on others .
After prayer and Gods guidance-
I realized I could choose Joy and forget about the stress of everything not being perfect , not shopping for last min gifts and not having everything the way I want it.
I am BLESSED with family , friends and God.
I can choose Joy!
